Michael is a Leeds/England based artist with BSc in Games Design and broad freelance new-media experience. Entered by his university into the Games Republic ‘09 Student Contest. Currently seeking employment in the games industry either as a junior artist or designer. (or QA in a pinch!)

A horror fan and avid gamer and collector whose roots are in the 8bit era. A fan of shooters, adventures and survival horror games.

He has always had a preoccupation with visual storytelling in its many forms. Illustration, concept art, animation, sequential art, pixel art.

Oft-whimsical yet dark art in a vibrant, entangled style that ranges from pop-cartoon through to more painterly and introspective concepts.

Michael works in a range of mediums but is most experienced in digital illustration. His skills also span into more technical fields such as 3D and Web design.
